To Eat Nuts Or Not To Eat Nuts?

Nuts are one of the healthiest foods to come in a small package. They are bite-size and packed with nutritional healthy fats, minerals, vitamins, and protein.

Remember you can have to much of a good thing always keep in mind that although nuts are good for you they are high in fat and calories, so while a handful can hold you over until dinner, a few more handfuls can ruin your appetite.
Keep in mind that although nuts are a healthy choice on there own, they'll quickly become detrimental to any diet when combined with sugary or salty toppings or mixes.

Nuts to avoid on your diet
Macadamia Nuts, Pecans

Macadamia Nuts: (10 to 12 nuts; 2 grams protein, 21 grams fat).
Pecans Nuts: (18 to 20 halves; 3 grams protein, 20 grams fat) have the most calories (200 each) along with the lowest amounts of protein and the highest amounts of fats.

Don’t count these two nuts out they are still good nuts.
As long as you make sure you still have portion control and don’t eat handfuls all at once. Just remember any kind of raw, plain nut will give you a good dose of healthy fats and nutrients.

Almonds are the best nuts for disease prevention

Low in calories the almond has more calcium than any other nut; they are great food for overall health. The almond is rich in fibre and vitamin E, an antioxidant that helps fight dangerous inflammation and possibly health conditions such as lung cancer.

A small handful of almonds will help you get through your afternoon until dinner time but remember only a small number of almonds just enough to fit into the palm of your hand is plenty.
